Newborn sessions may be long but they are so rewarding. This little guy is the first grandson. He has THREE sisters. Even the dog is a girl. He may by outnumbered, but he is so loved and I am sure he will be spoiled……

I was so excited to photograph Tyler. It seems like a majority of the session I have had lately have all been girls. Now granted you have to admit girls clothes and accessories are so much fun, but little boys are so stinkin’ cute! Tyler was a total rockstar. He did everything perfectly. Things got a little crazy when we photographed all four children, but it was a ton of fun and the girls were awesome as well. They were also such great helpers.
It’s not uncommon for accidents to happen during sessions. That’s why I always bring a ton of blankets and keep towels close by….well, as I was getting ready to put Mr. Tyler in the puppy outfit I asked for his diaper. As I reached out to grab it with him laying in my lap and his bottom against my belly I hear a sound…..

It’s finally here!!! My new blogsite. BLOGSITE? Yep, all in one website, portfolio and blog.
This year I have been trying to find ways to simplify my life. I want to spend more time with you, my clients, family and friends. It has started out as a very busy year and I hope to keep it up, but in the social media days we live in now it’s hard to do it all. I have been working on this for what seems like FOREVER. Alas, it’s done and I am so excited. Please come back often. I will not only post recent sessions, but also trips and adventures as well as my current “obsessions” and Maddox’s favorite places to hang. I have a few limited edition sets and fun projects that are in the works and I will announce them here first.

Now that this is done I have two people I need to thank….
First is my fantastic and loving husband. He has always been so supportive. He helps me load the car down to my gear and props when I head to an on-location session (not to mention letting me borrow his vehicle since his is bigger). He surprised me with a home office (while I was out of town) so I have a  would have my own space to work and decorate. He will even wash the 20-thousand blankets I bring home from newborn sessions that are messy from “accidents”. These are just a couple of examples of the things he does for me in addition to putting up with the countless hours spent in front of the computer editing, emailing, entering portrait orders and working on the blogsite and other social media.

Second, I need the thank my wonderful and fabulous friend Jenna Moore of Jenna Marie Wedding. She has helped me so much. She has designed my logo and helping with the blogsite layout along with chatting for hours about business and taking road trips for continuing education and conferences. It’s great to have such an awesome friend that is in the same industry. We’ve been friends for over 10 years now and I am so thankful for the friendship. Honestly I probably would still be scratching my heading trying to get things in order if it was not for her help.
